Abstract

Two recent papers authored by Froese, Woodward and Ikegami present the neuropsychological model of Lewis-Williams and Dowson as if it had just been published. This paper corrects their distortions of the work of critics, including Helvenston and Bahn, addresses neuropsychological errors and discusses the complexities of psilocybin-containing mushrooms. It includes a discussion of the mushrooms depicted in the Selva Pascuala mural found at the Villar Humo Cultural Site in Cuenca, Spain.
